October 12th Fishing Report

Wisconsin’s Driftless season closes after Thursday!

Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Last hot and windy day today.  The only silver lining from this weekend is it blew a few more terrestrials into the water and the ant fishing was great in spots.

As we head into the last few days of season, it is still edible indicator with a bead head below it for our main rig.  After a bit of a cooldown to normal starting tomorrow we should see the return of the olives in the early evening.

The 15th (last day of season) we are supposed to get some cloud cover and drizzle!  That could be an incredible day to finish out the season on!.
