February 16th Fishing Report
A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 26. North wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.Weather is just average to downright crummy until the weekend. Chilly and windy until Saturday, when the temperatures will return to the low 40s. It is very odd, but there is not a lot of snow on the ground for February which makes walking and fishing a bit easier than normal for this time of year.
Midges and winter stoneflies have been hatching mid day, and fish are eating nymphs subsurface as well as leech patterns twitched slowly through the holes.
