May 11th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.Creeks are clear and a bit low. Temperatures are in the mid 50s.
Fishing has been very good early and late with a few hours mid day that are slow. This is simply due to the sun shining directly on the clear water. We're seeing caddis and craneflies pretty much all day long, but the stronger hatch is later in the day. We're also seeing midges and a few mayflies hatching especially in the evenings.
Do not be afraid to start fishing larger foam patterns with bead heads below! While they function mostly as a more natural indicator, fish are starting to eat the size 12 hippie stompers and training wheels (especially in yellow and orange!)
