June 8th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind becoming east around 6 mph in the morning.Creeks are very low and clear with temperatures in the low 60s. This is abnormally high for this time of season, so make sure to use your thermometers as anything over 65 will be poor fishing.
Thankfully the oppressive heat has gone away. We still need some rain, but the fishing has picked up with the more normal temperatures. Mid day is still very difficult, but mornings on terrestrials and bead heads, and evenings on a mix of lighter colored mayflies (sullphurs, PMDs).
When in doubt, a hippie stomper with a bead head below will catch you some fish!
