June 27th Fishing Report
Widespread haze. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. North wind 6 to 8 mph.Smoky skies today, mixed with full sun. We should get back to cloud cover an hopefully some rain tomorrow!
We really need the rain. The creeks are super low and the weed growth is limiting fishing opportunity. While there are still fish to be had when the sun is off the water, the concern is that it will be too rough on the fish later this summer. Please use a thermometer, anything over 65 before later in the day is too warm to fish responsibly!
It's terrestrial with dropper time in the driftless. Add to that the parachute adams hatch in the evening, and some rusty spinners in the mornings and you have your summer menu!
