October 6th Fishing Report
Showers likely, mainly between 2pm and 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 51. Breezy, with a west wind 8 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.Some clouds and potential drizzle forecasted for today, then spotty cloud cover over the weekend.
The temperatures are incredible! Lows dipping into the 30s and high in the 50s. This cold weather should kick start some fall feeding. Along with the normal terrestrial fishing from mid day into the afternoon, we should see the return of the olive hatch later in the day.
Creeks are clear and still very low, so approach your spots with caution. Focus on the riffles and broken water and the undercut banks below the riffles for best success!
