March 2nd Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 61. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.Creeks are very low and clear with temperatures in the low to mid 40s.
Overall fishing is still pretty good. It hasn't really kicked in yet, but the weather has been more than pleasant to be outside in! Lately fish have been pretty happy in the riffles, even starting to eat smaller terrestrials (check out the new skater tot fly!!) we are using as indicators.
Subsurface fishing has been best on smaller streamers and leeches as well as scuds and midge larvae.
We are sounding like a broken record, but some cloud cover and rain could be a game changer for the area!
