March 13th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. East wind 7 to 10 mph.Looking at the forecast, today is blowing in some much needed rain. Creeks are very low and clear with temperatures in the mid to high 40s.
The rains tonight will unfortunately not be enough to flush the creeks, but will go a long way into starting up the fishery and hopefully putting some more water into the springs.
Fishing has been good during a mid day window as we are seeing some olives and midges hatching. The window can be brief, and the fish are still spooky everywhere but in the broken riffle water, but if the hatch shows up they get a little less spooky!
Make sure you approach with stealth, and make your casts count.
