April 24th Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 55. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph.Creeks are very clear and still low. Temperatures are in the low to mid 50s area wide.
A calmer day wind wise, we should see some caddis hatching mid day. The clear water means fish will be very spooky and skittish. Approach the creeks slowly with as much stealth as you can!
Subsurface fishing in the riffles has been good on thin bodied bugs with a bit of flash as well as caddis pupae. When the hatch happens, fishing a body double or zeppelin caddis dry and twitching it has been very successful.
