May 29th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the morning.Creeks are clear to slightly stained. The recent rains were good, soaking rains and did not muddy things up in our area!
We continue to see caddis and craneflies throughout the day, and lighter colored mayflies hatching in the evenings. On some mornings, we are getting a decent spinner fall at dawn as well.
With the sunny and dry weather, we expect the small terrestrials to be out and about. A beetle or ant will be excellent when the sun is shining all day long!
Subsurface fishing is best with thin profile nymphs with a bit of sparkle on days like today.
Don't forget, our fly fishing show and drive in movie night is in one week! Details, sponsor list and more can be found on our facebook event page here:
