June 3rd Fishing Report

Remember, Fly Fishing Show and Drive In Movie Night is this Thursday!!

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 78. Light south wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Clouds today will start to bunch up and maybe dump some rain on us today through Wednesday.  Creeks are clear to slightly stained as the last spring rains missed us for the most part!  The forecast, while rainy, does not look terrible until potentially Tuesday night.

Craneflies have been hot lately, along with smaller terrestrials with a dropper and lighter colored mayflies hatching in the evening.  With potential rain, it will be mostly a subsurface day with fish happily feeding on pretty much any nymphs.  Expect the scud and crayfish fishing to pick up with the cloud cover as well.
