June 5th Fishing Report

A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 78. West wind 6 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.
Rain over the past 24 hours was 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch at the heaviest.   While this has blown out some of our area creeks, they will drop and clear up to fishable levels very quickly, and there is already some fishable water out there right now.  Have a late breakfast, extra cup of coffee, or sleep in and focus mid day into the evening.
On the murky water, worm patterns, leeches and large scuds.  On the stained water, big bright foam attractors with a thicker bodied bead head below.  The creeks with some clarity should see the later mayfly hatches as well.
