June 17th Fishing Report

Partly sunny, with a high near 88. South wind 6 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Hot and potentially stormy on and off until Wednesday.  If you fish, please fish first thing in the morning then be diligent about checking water temperatures.  They have been pretty stable up until this short heat wave.  Things normalize (hopefully) after some rains Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
Our recommendation:  Chase some panfish on your local ponds, or other warm water species and give trout a couple days break.
