June 19th Fishing Report
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, then isolated showers between noon and 1pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 75. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Some rain last night (half an inch or so near Viroqua, a little less south of us) cooled things down and refreshed the creeks. Water will be clear to stained this morning, and we are forecasted for a bit more rain on and off through the day and the week. If anything heavy hits and muddys the creeks up, we will let you know.
Throughout the day, we will continue fishing indicator dries with bead heads below, or swing leeches and small streamers below the riffles. At night we are still seeing some sulphur mayflies hatching (although the hatch is slowing down a bit in some places).
