July 5th Fishing Report

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 72. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
We received anywhere from half an inch to two inches of rain around 9 last night.  The majority of our creeks (but not all) are muddy, but already dropping and starting to get some clarity.  We should have more fishable water by this afternoon, and the weekend should be great barring any more heavy rains.  This has been such a great water summer, especially compared to last year!
It's murky water fishing.  Worms, leeches, larger scuds and streamers.  As things clear up, foam with a dropper will start to fish incredibly well again.
