September 3rd Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 77. South wind 6 to 10 mph.
Creeks are clear and looking great.  Overnight temperatures are low for this time of season, and this coming weekend looks incredible temperature wise.
We are seeing the tricos start to decline, but we should start to see olives in the afternoon with these cooler temperatures.  While the classic match the hatch fishing is slowing down a bit, we are going strong with hoppers or beetles with a dropper.  The streamer and leech bite is also starting to pick up a bit.
We're getting hopeful that this is the transition from the dog days of summer to the later summer fishing!
