October 1st Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Summer has been hanging on this late season!  Things are fishing pretty average due to the clear water and sunny skies.  Water temperatures are great area wide, but we need this cooler weather, and hopefully some clouds to get things really going.  There are some sparse midge hatches earlier in the morning, and the olives have not really appeared in the afternoon yet.  It's still beetle or small hopper with a dropper time!
REMEMBER SEASON CLOSES AFTER THE 15TH OF OCTOBER!  Get out there and fish!
