January 24th Fishing Report
A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 21. Wind chill values as low as -14. South wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.Most creeks are pretty locked up with shelf ice still. The warming over the next few days should open things up, and within a couple of days we should see some hatches and feeding fish again!
Creeks are very low and clear, and fish are very spooky. Approach with stealth!
Midges are hatching mid day, but your best bet is a small leech or bead head fished deep in the pools or below the riffles mid day.
