January 28th Fishing Report

Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. Breezy, with a southwest wind 11 to 16 mph becoming south 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 44 mph.
The unseasonably warm week rolls on.  We're looking at temperatures around 40-50 through Friday.  While it is still winter fishing, it will be a good week to take a day off and enjoy being outside.
The shelf ice on the creeks is slowly melting away, and we have zero snow on the banks (which is not good long term, but helps a lot right now in getting around easily!)
Creeks are still chilly, so focus your fishing mid day.  Midges (potential hatch mid day), leeches and scuds are all effective right now.
