February 26th Fishing Report
A 30 percent chance of rain, mainly between 4pm and 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. East wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. After a few days of warm weather, snow and ice are finally letting go in a big way. With the lack of re-freeze last night we are seeing a lot of stained to muddy water (which also happens to be very cold). Not good conditions out there today. There is fishable water in the headwater sections and on some more open meadows, but most of the day will be a 'runoff' day. Things should calm down by tomorrow or Friday.
