March 8th Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 48. West wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.Creeks are clear to stained with temperatures in the high 30s to 40 degrees. Most of our snow is gone leaving our creeks low. We still need precipitation, but fishing has slowly stated to pick up a bit with the warmup. Hatches are still sparse, but midge hatches are out there on most of the creeks mid day.
The most effective fishing is rolling a scud or slowly twitching a leech below the riffles.
