April 2nd Fishing Report
Rain and thunderstorms before 4pm, then a chance of rain. High near 58. Breezy, with an east wind 18 to 24 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. In the past 24 hours we have received about half to almost an inch of precipitation. Last night it snowed, then switched to rain. That rain is melting things and putting some color in most of our creeks. We're forecasted mostly for drizzle through the day today so things should stabilize and even potentially clear up quickly.
There is fishable water out there, not a lot, but it exists.
The ground is warm enough that fishing a san juan or squirmy wormy as well as leeches and scuds in the stained to murky water will be successful.
