April 7th Fishing Report

A chance of flurries, mixing with sprinkles after 2pm, then gradually ending. Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a north wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.
A bit of a chilly start to the week with some gusty winds.  Things calm down mid week.
The fishing has been quite good lately.  Creeks are clear with water temperatures in the mid 40s on average.  We're still finding the fishing better in the later morning after things have warmed up a bit, and into the afternoon when we are seeing blue winged olives hatching.
Subsurface fishing remains solid all day long.
