April 8th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 45. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Even in yesterday's cold and high wind, the olives were hatching well!  Today is much more stable weather wise.  We're seeing fish being a bit sluggish in the early mornings, then starting to feed subsurface as the sun warms the water a bit.  Finally, in the afternoon trout are making the push into the riffles to feed on emerging olives. (don't be afraid of fishing an unweighted leech in the riffles during the hatch, you could be surprised!)
Creeks are clear overall with water temps in the mid to high 40s.
