March 6th Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 39. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light northwest in the afternoon. We have started to see real runoff (cold and mud) on the small creeks in the afternoon.
Good news: It re-froze overnight
Bad news: It's going to be warm the next few days.
Today looks good still, we expect decent conditions through the day today and expect to see some runoff this afternoon.
Tomorrow will be very warm and sunny and things will start to melt quickly.
Sunday is downright balmy and the melt off will not re-freeze overnight which means we expect the rivers to be murky and cold.
Deep nymphing, midge hatches and maybe olives Saturday before the snow lets go.
