March 11th Fishing Report
Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 49. Light and variable wind.Creeks are clear in the mornings and will get a slight stain as the last of the snow melts slowly. We really only have snow in shaded areas and north facing slopes. Our 'runoff' is over.
We're seeing midges, winter stoneflies, and blue winged olives hatching as water temperatures are in the 40s now.
Subsurface fishing continues to be excellent on subsurface bugs that are thin and dark bodied. We just got in another batch of flies and will be adding them to the web shopping page soon!
Leeches and streamers are also doing well especially in the afternoons after the hatches subside.
