March 16th Fishing Report
A slight chance of rain before 11am, then a slight chance of rain after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 41. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.Fishing has been quite good lately! While the weather is pretty average temperature wise, water temps are in the high 30s to mid 40s.
Fish have been eating on the surface well on many of our area creeks in the later part of the day. We found happy fish from 1-4 yesterday! Midges are still key as it isn't quite warm enough throughout the area for olives to show up consistently.
Otherwise, fish are eating subsurface on nymphs and leeches drifted slowly. If we get clouds in the sky or a stain on the water, streamers are working well too.
