September 24th Fishing Report
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.Cooler. cloudy, and potential drizzle. A trout anglers dream weather report.
The last couple of days were a bit difficult overall due to crystal clear water and sunny skies. The clouds today will hopefully supercharge the bugs and trout.
Watch for olives in the afternoon/evening as they love hatching in these conditions (User Friendly Olive size 18). Otherwise keep fishing the trusty foam foam/dropper. Remember scuds are more active in cloudy weather.
With the clouds, the leech and streamer bite will be better too all day long!
