March 4th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. East wind 6 to 9 mph.Gorgeous day to be outside today!
Creeks are clear and running in the high 30s temperature wise. Later on in the day water temps are hitting the low 40s.
The main thing to keep in mind right now is that the melting snow will slow down and stop fishing rapidly. We have been fortunate enough that it hasn't gotten too warm and we have yet to see muddy water, however as the melt starts to trickle into the creeks and drop water temperature things shut down quickly.
Midges and winter stones are hatching and we are seeing a handful of olives too.
Subsurface has been good on pretty much anything right now with scuds, euro squirrels and beatis leading the way.
