April 12th Fishing Report
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53. Breezy, with a west wind 8 to 17 mph.The fishing has been top notch lately. It has not done more than drizzle here leaving our creeks crystal clear and flowing a bit low.
We are seeing craneflies, caddis, olives, and a few midges and spring stoneflies too. Surface activity has been pretty consistent in the afternoon, while fishing a larger foam pattern with a bead head dropper has been the go to rig in the morning.
Water temperatures are in the 50s, that means pretty much anything will work subsurface. Our best flies have been brush hogs, Dr. Fauci, euro squirrels and purple drank.
