May 3rd Fishing Report
Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 1pm and 5pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 5pm. Temperature rising to near 65 by 11am, then falling to around 59 during the remainder of the day. Light and variable wind becoming north 8 to 13 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.The rains hit heavier north of us (Timber Coulee and tributaries are blown as of this morning, but dropping and clearing quickly). In town and south we only received about 3/4 of an inch which left the creeks clear to slightly stained.
This was much needed rain and letting things clear out and drop will make things even better going forward. It might take a bit of windshield time, but there is fishable water out there even after the rains!
