September 2nd Fishing Report
Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning. It was approaching chilly this morning!
Creeks are clear to slightly stained with only the largest creeks still stained to murky. The upper sections and tributaries have all been fishing very well the past few days.
While there are no major hatches (a slight chance of olives showing up in the afternoon with the cooler weather), fish are still happily eating terrestrials. While most of the action is subsurface right now, fishing a foam pattern as your indicator, and tossing ants and beetles under overhanging vegetation and along grass edges can provide some exciting fishing under these conditions!
