March 16th Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 65. Breezy, with a southwest wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.Water is extremely low and clear. A couple of the larger creeks are seeing some stain from snowmelt in the later afternoon.
Overall fishing has been good as temperatures are just right for this time of year and we are seeing midges and olives hatching mid day. The water level is a bit of a concern as we do not have a lot of snow left to get into the system.
Today, being very warm, should be a heavy melt day for the snow left on the north slopes and shaded areas. Watch for water temperatures to drop and things to get murky later on in the day.
