March 22nd Fishing Report
Rain. High near 49. East wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.Creeks are clear to stained and flowing in the low 40s. The rains aren't yet as strong as initially predicted which means things are still in great shape fishing wise. The cloud cover has been a blessing for or low water and spooky fish, making it just a bit easier to approach each spot.
Olives are around, but not in great numbers. Also look for midges mid day. Something like the pearl butt secret emerger is an excellent choice right now for fish sipping midges or olive emergers.
Leeches and smaller streamers have also been fantastic lately, and will continue to be strong with this low pressure weather pattern.
