June 2nd Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 73. Light northwest wind becoming west 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.Creeks are clear a low. Temperatures are in the high 50s to 60.
We're looking at a week of very pleasant weather here! Trout are feeding all day long (even on the surface in some cases) and some areas are seeing a pretty solid sulfur hatch the last couple of hours in the day!
Outside of sulfurs on the surface we are seeing caddis, crane flies, yellow sallies, and some cahill mayflies too. Terrestrials are incredibly effective right now with fish loving ants and beetles.
Subsurface fishing is starting to switch from thick and medium bodied patterns to thinner patterns. On the cloudy days they are loving scuds.
Streamer fishing has been quite solid too and mousing is even starting to pick up!
