June 3rd Fishing Report
Sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.Creeks are clear and low with temperatures in the high 50s to 60 degrees.
Overall fishing is quite good with the sun being the only thing making things more difficult. We get some much needed cloud cover starting tomorrow. In the meantime, fish shaded areas and fish early and especially late. We are seeing caddis and lighter colored mayflies hatching in the evenings right before dark.
When the clouds move in, scuds will become extremely important to fish as a dropper or below an indicator. The general rule applies that you should fish a thin bodied bead head in the sun and a thicker profile when the clouds roll in.
