September 12th Fishing Report
A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. North wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. There has not been near enough rain to make the creeks murky. They remain clear to slightly stained with excellent water temperatures!
Today is the last day of the cool, cloudy and drizzly weather. It has been a fantastic couple of days of fall weather with fish happily eating subsurface on scuds and leeches as well as a few still hitting darker colored terrestrial and attractor patterns with abandon. It didn't quite produce a great olive hatch with only a few reports of spotty rising activity from around the area.
Tomorrow we get sunny and warmer weather which will mean the return of hopper and beetle fishing!
