September 25th Fishing Report

Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a northwest wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph.
Chilly and dreary.  Sounds like trout weather!
Terrestrials are still going strong on the surface, with more activity later in the morning when the ground dries out a bit.
The olives are here, but the past couple of days have been hatching late in the day, right around sunset.  Watch for them in the later afternoon through the evening.
Subsurface fishing has been hot on pink squirrels and scuds.
