August 26th Fishing Report
A 20 percent chance of showers after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Northwest wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
Solid summer weather out there. It’s still summer which means fishing super early, before the creeks warm up and the sun shines brightly on the water, but temperatures have been very good for this time of year.
Watch for some spinners early, then fish a ground beetle with a bead head of some sort below it. Don’t neglect a micro leech as a dropper. Fish have seen thousands of perdigons, changing the dropper up just a bit can make a big difference.
