August 28th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Very vanilla day weather wise today.  Again, the bright sun will slow things down earlier in the morning than we would like.

However….  Saturday and Sunday we are looking at some cloud cover and drizzle!  This should help the fishing out quite a bit.  While the match the hatch dry fly fishing will slow down if it rains, the beetle or hopper/dropper fishing will be quite good, as well fishing small leeches.

Water temps are great on almost every creek except the larger area streams.  Fishing is still best in the mornings, but it can be stretched out a bit longer if clouds stay in the sky.
