June 17th Fishing Report
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 4pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 5pm. High near 68. Breezy, with a southeast wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Rainfall totals are way down from what was forecasted. That means we will have some light rain and clouds all day today. Excellent conditions for fishing.
WIth the wind and rains, dry fly fishing will be difficult to say the least. Focus on subsurface fishing, especially scuds and Milwaukee leeches. The normal, bright bead heads will work too as long as the waters stay clear.
