September 2nd Conditions Update

Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 88. Light and variable wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Waking up to 99% humidity is rough!

We’re in a warm spell right now, but are starting to see some rain rolling in.  A few storms hitting north of the shop this morning, and predicted showers on and off the next couple of days.  The smaller creeks have been resilient to the heat this time and fishing has been better than expected, but only when the sun is off the water.  Keep focused on cloudy days and fishing very early and very late.

Looking ahead, If we get the clouds the fishing will improve.  If not, it is looking like Sunday starts a string of normal to cooler weather!
