October 9th Fishing Report
A slight chance of showers between 11am and 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Southeast wind 7 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Well, the clouds won’t last too long with the winds.. But any shade or cloud cover means better fishing! The sun has been a problem for fishing lately with fish acting extremely spooky and holding very close to undercut banks and overhanging structure. It is tough out there!
Hoppers with droppers, emergers in the evenings, and mice and minnows in the evenings.
This is the last weekend of season, so expect a few more anglers out there than normal. Please do not hop in upstream of another angler (high holing), and be very aware of private property! There is still enough room to spread out, and there is never a reason to block a landowner’s gate or access road.
