May 13th Fishing Report

Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a north wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Windy and sunny day again today.  The wind has been detrimental to surface fishing (the poor bugs are getting blown right off the water!).  Most of our success has come subsurface on bubble back pupae fished behind something larger and heavier like a Spanish bullet or pink squirrel.

Creeks are very clear and fish are spooky, consider a longer leader, or if you need to replace your line, a clear tip magnitude infinity line helps a ton under these conditions!
