April 28th Fishing Report

Cloudy through mid morning, then becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
We get a break from some rain, and the rollercoaster temperatures for a few days!  Stable weather all week long it looks like.
The rains yesterday were not heavy, nor did they put more than 1/4 of an inch into the system.  A light soaking rain that did nothing to the creeks.
Overall creeks are clear to slightly stained with water temperatures in the lower 50s.  We’re doing well on nightmare perdigons and zebra midges as well as a coulee scud below a beetle.  On the surface we are seeing a few caddis flies (mostly black) in the afternoons
