August 13th Fishing Report

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 2pm and 5pm. High near 77. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms

The forecast says it all.  Cooler and clouds/drizzle through the weekend.  If this weather holds, fishing will be summer good!

Tricos early (if it isn’t too humid or drizzle) then hopper/dropper through the day.  With the clouds, fish a small scud or leech too!  This is about as good as you can get for a summer morning trout fishing forecast.  We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the clouds stick around.
