June 22nd Fishing Report

Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Warmer start to the week with a slight chance (please let it happen!) or rain Tuesday night into Wednesday.  Later on in the week it cools down a bit.

Fishing has not been consistent or easy lately.  The bright sun and clear water are making things very difficult (time to upgrade to a magnitude clear tip fly line!) as fish are holding tight to shade, undercut banks, or below current drop offs.

A few hatches of midges really early in the day, then a few lighter colored mayflies in the late evening.  Otherwise it is terrestrial with a dropper (some people have starting having success with Mr. Sparkle as an edible indicators) all day long.
