May 18th Fishing Report
Trout like rain.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Area wide we received about 3/4 of an inch to an inch in the past 24 hours. The rains fell mostly as soaking higher rains with a few pockets of heavy precipitation. Overall the creeks are in fishable shape, clear to a medium stain. Only a couple are running muddy as of this morning. With the flush and the cloud cover, make sure to have worm patterns, scuds, and leeches along side the normal May patterns.
