July 11th Update
A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Over the past 24 hours the rain have been light and only dropped about 1/4 of an inch total leaving our creeks clear and still relatively cool in the mornings! This has been a favorable week so far for the early bite.
We’re still relying heavily on terrestrials and droppers, while waiting for trico spinners to start to arrive (historically in a week or two)
Evenings have been decent too for the last hour or two before dark. Simple seam sippers in purple and brown have been solid for rising fish. After dark, mousing has been fun too!
