July 14th Report and week forecast
Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Air quality advisory in effect. There is lots of wildfire smoke in the area right now.
Today and tomorrow are a bit warm, but we get cooler temps and some more rain mid week.
So far, things have stayed stable water temperature wise with only the larger area creeks being too warm to fish. Smaller creeks have very good temperatures and the fishing has been good for summertime with fish eating terrestrials and droppers and a few simple parachute patterns on the surface.
Watch for tricos to start showing up anytime. Conditions are just about there for us to spot some spinner falls.
Later this week the temperatures drop quite a bit and we are forecasted for lower temperatures and some rain. This could be really good for some mid summer fishing.
